The Umbria is the dining room's quiet quartermaster — linen, glass and silver behind doors that close like a held breath, under a top that serves as the buffet.
Our cabinetmakers work to tolerances measured in tenths of a millimetre and to a calendar measured in decades: joints cut to outlive fashions, drawers that glide on hand-fitted runners, and backs finished as carefully as fronts, because someone will one day turn the piece around.

Care
Dust with a soft dry cloth and feed the timber once or twice a year with the supplied hard-wax oil. Keep pieces out of direct radiator heat, wipe spills promptly, and let the finish develop its patina — it is the point, not a flaw. Our workshop offers refinishing and repair for the life of the piece.
