ZAVORETH Dining — cabinetmaking for the table's long life
The Dejvice is the dining room's quiet quartermaster — linen, glass and silver behind doors that close like a held breath, under a top that serves as the buffet.
Every carcass begins as air-dried European oak, walnut or ash, selected board by board for figure and calm, then joined the old way: mortise and tenon, dovetail, fielded panel. Finishes are hand-applied oils and waxes that let the timber breathe and deepen — furniture built to be inherited, not replaced.
Design & Making
- Signed inside the carcass by the maker who built it
- Soft-close hinges and runners specified for decades of daily use
- Interior fitted in pale sycamore — a pleasure every time the door opens
- Adjustable levelling concealed in every foot
- Hand-applied hard-wax oil finish that deepens with the years
- Shelves adjustable on brass pins, edges lipped in solid timber

Solid timber moves with the seasons; give it stable humidity and it will behave for generations. Clean with a barely damp cloth, never silicone sprays. Rings and scratches can be revived with the care kit included — or entrusted to our restorers at any point.
Questions, Answered
What is the lead time?
In-stock pieces deliver within 2–3 weeks; made-to-order furniture typically takes 6–10 weeks depending on cloth and finish. Your concierge confirms dates before you commit.
Will it fit through my staircase?
We check before we build: every order includes an access review from your photographs or a site visit, and several designs disassemble for narrow Prague staircases.
