ZAVORETH Dining — cabinetmaking for the table's long life
The Bornholm pair is sculpted for the long table and the longer evening: backrests meeting the spine exactly where dinner slows down, joints that tighten with age.
Each piece is assembled dry for inspection, signed inside the carcass by the maker, then glued, finished and rested again before crating. The signature is not marketing — it is how our workshop keeps its promises traceable.
Design & Making
- Mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joinery, cut to outlive fashions
- Joints wedged and glued — the chair tightens with age rather than loosening
- Seats in saddle leather, bouclé or hand-woven cane
- Hand-applied hard-wax oil finish that deepens with the years
- Air-dried European oak, walnut or ash, selected board by board

Care
Plump feather cushions daily as part of the ritual, rotate seat pads weekly, and vacuum gently with a soft brush. Removable covers dry-clean; spot-clean spills with a damp white cloth, never rubbing. Decades from now, our atelier will happily reupholster the piece in its next cloth.
Questions, Answered
Can I order custom dimensions or finishes?
Almost always. Most pieces are made to order, so widths, timbers, stones and cloths can be adjusted through your concierge — usually without changing the lead time.
Will it fit through my staircase?
We check before we build: every order includes an access review from your photographs or a site visit, and several designs disassemble for narrow Prague staircases.
The ZAVORETH Promise
