We upholster the slow way: webbing stretched by hand, hessian and calico under everything, seams placed where the eye rests and never where the elbow lands. The result sits differently in the first minute — and in the tenth year.

Care
Plump feather cushions daily as part of the ritual, rotate seat pads weekly, and vacuum gently with a soft brush. Removable covers dry-clean; spot-clean spills with a damp white cloth, never rubbing. Decades from now, our atelier will happily reupholster the piece in its next cloth.

Can it stay outside all year?
Frames yes — teak, powder-coated aluminium and marine ropework are built for Central European winters. Cushions prefer the supplied storage bags or a dry chest between seasons.
How does teak age?
Left alone, teak silvers evenly and beautifully; oiled once a year, it keeps its honey tone. Both are correct — a care card explains each path.
